Jan Kalàb: Urban Art Fair 2024

For its eighth edition the international fair dedicated to urban art the Urban Art Fair in collaboration with MAGMA Gallery is glad to present a focus on the internationally renowned artists Jan Kaláb (Prague, 1979) and Franco Fasoli (Buenos Aires, 1981). After the great success of the solo show of Jan Kaláb in 2023 edition of UAF and to celebrate an ongoing collaboration which has begun in the early days of MAGMA Gallery's activity, from April 25th to 28th at Le Carreau du Temple in Paris there is the possibility of viewing, with a new exhibition, his most recent production.
Kaláb's circular pictorial forms blend and release power, friction, and energy through their compositions. From this simple and effective intuition, he developed a pictorial energy, that over time modifies the previously perfectly circular shapes and frames, bending them, breaking them down.
