New collaboration with Julie Oppermann

MAGMA gallery is glad to announce the new collaboration with Julie Oppermann.

Julie Oppermann (San Francisco, California, 1982) is an artist from NYC, who lives and works in Berlin. Her work combines Op art from the 60's, video images from the 70's and abstraction from the 80.'s. Drawing from his interest in perception and cognition, as well as from her studies in Color Theory, her bright and sparkling coloured paintings recall a psychedelic dimension, while maintaining a strong conceptual strictness.
